COLLEGE GREEN - Summer Sundays Closures:

The area from College Green to the junction of Georges Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic between 7am and 7pm on Sunday July 21^st, 28^th and August 4^th.  The area will only be accessible to pedestrians and cyclists during these dates and times.  To minimise disruption during the Summer Sundays events, the following arrangements will be in place:

Cyclists:

Cycle parking will be provided adjacent to Summer Sundays event space on Dame St.  Cyclists can access the area via the two way segregated cycle track on College Green and will be guided around the event via temporary segregated cycle lanes.

LUAS

Luas will operate a normal, Sunday service.

Cars 

Car traffic will be diverted via the South Quays and Upper Dame St.  Cars coming from the Christchurch direction will be permitted to turn right at the junction of Georges St/ Dame St.  Access to car parks will be from Georges St.

Buses 

Buses normally travelling easterly onto College Green will be diverted onto Winetavern St and westerly buses onto the South Quays and up to Georges St.

Taxis 

The taxi rank at Foster’s Place and College Green will be closed for the duration with a temporary extended rank available at D’Olier St.
