Abnormal Load Movement

A convoy of vehicles carrying extraordinary sized loads will make their way from Dublin Port to Leixlip.

The vehicles will leave Dublin North Docks en route to the Intel Complex, Leixlip Co. Kildare at 11 pm
on Thursday 16th October 2014. 17th Exit Dublin Port – East Wall Road – turn right Alfie Byrne Road – Turn right Clonatrf Road- Continue Clontarf Road – to James Larkin Road Howth Road Junction – turn left Howth Road – Continue Howth Road – turn right Collins Avenue East (traverse railway bridge) – Continue Collins Avenue  West – Collins Avenue Extension – turn right Ballymun Road- Dublin City Council Boundary. 

Traffic diversions will be in place along the route and in the city centre for the duration of the
movement. Please use alternative routes when travelling in these areas. Parking restrictions will also
be in place along the route. October 2014. The estimated time of arrival at the Intel Complex is 6 am on Friday

Wide Load Tonight

A convoy of exceptionally-sized vehicles will leave Dún Laoghaire Harbour en route to the Diageo Plant (Guinness’s) on Victoria Quay near Heuston Station at 10pm on tonight. The estimated time of arrival at Diageo is 6am tomorrow morning.

The convoy will be travelling along the following route:

Dún Laoghaire Harbour – Monkstown Crescent – Rock Road – Merrion Road – Shelbourne Road – Grand Canal Street Upper- Clanwilliam Place - Mount Street Lower - Merrion Square North - Clare Street - Contra Flow will be in place on Leinster Street South - Nassau Street – Grafton Street Lower and College Green. Convoy will then continue along Westmorland Street – Aston Quay – continue along South Quays and enter the Diageo Plant at Victoria Quay.
