New Marlborough Street Bridge Shortlist Announced

The race is heating up to find the name of the new Marlborough St bridge currently under construction. Following on from the release of the seventeen name shortlist last month, the contenders have now been whittled down to ten. They are as follows:

Willie Bermingham

James Connolly

Frank Duff

Rosie Hackett

Kay Mills

George Sigerson

Bram Stoker

Ernest Walton

W.B. Yeats

Some of you may remember that the Live Drive team made a charity bet with Paddy Power after we saw the initial shortlist - €50 on Rosie Hackett and €50 on Ernest Walton. We're delighted that both these names are still in the hat. On July 10th this list will be further slashed to the final five, and the final decision will be made in September.
