Dublin Simon Community Fun Run

The Dublin Simon Community Fun Run will be held on Saturday 12th October 2013 from 10 am the following restrictions will apply in the Phoenix Park on the day and for the periods hereinafter mentioned:


Roads to be closed to traffic between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm:

Acres Road

Roads to be closed to traffic between 9.30 am and 11.30 am:

Survey Road (between Mountjoy Cross and its junction with Furze, Knockmaroon andUpper Glen Road)
Upper Glen Road / Glen Road (between the junction of Furze and Survey Roads toChapelizod Gate)
Military / Corkscrew Road (between Chapelizod Gate and its junction with WellingtonRoad)
Chesterfield Avenue (between Phoenix Monument and Mountjoy Cross)
North Road (between Ashtown Gate and Mountjoy Cross) — except for access to Farmleigh

Gates to be closed to traffic between 8.00 am and 11.30 am:

Chapelizod Gate (Hospital access only)
Knockmaroon Gate — Closed until 11.30 am

Traffic will be halted or diverted at the following locations:

(a) Chesterfield Avenue at Mountjoy Junction
(b) Chesterfield Avenue at the Phoenix Monument
(c) Junction of Wellington and Khyber Roads
(d) Chapelizod Gate — entry will be restricted to hospital traffic only
(e) Ashtown Gate — no right turn on entry

Parking of vehicles will not be permitted except in areas set aside for that purpose
